McBride plc, a FTSE 250 British-based manufacturing business, is recognised as Europe’s largest producer of retailer own brand household and personal care goods. RightClick were retained by McBride as their recruitment partner as they established a brand new European Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Manchester.
Working closely with the McBride HR team and reporting directly to the Group Business Services Director, RightClick were an integral part of the SSC project team. Our objective was to role out the Target Operating Model, recruiting all positions to a tight project driven timescale.
The recruitment stream of the SSC project was successfully delivered on time and to budget. RightClick recruited from Senior Management through to junior positions across the following SSC functions:
- Human Resources
- IT Technical Support
- Customer Service and Complaints Handling
In addition, RightClick worked directly with the Group Finance Director to relocate the Head Office Finance Team from London to Manchester. This involved establishing an interim team to manage the transition before recruiting permanent staff once the function had migrated.
